Do we need to make a reservation?

No, at this time, Dutch’s Spirits does not require reservations unless there is a ticketed event schedule. Please check our Events Calendar for details. We have limited number of picnic tables available on a first come, first serve basis. You are welcome to bring a blanket or lounge chair if you want to guarantee a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the afternoon!


Can We bring Outside food or drink?

No outside food or drinks are permitted. Beverages and concessions are available in the Tasting Room.


Is Dutch’s Spirits A Family-Friendly place?

We are definitely family friendly! All ages welcome, 21+ to drink.

The Great Lawn is a great place for the whole family! There are outdoor yard games and table top games to play. We have a large wooden boat & swing set structure for the young ones. Plus all of our events are geared toward family enjoyment unless otherwise noted in the details of our events calendar.



Can we bring a large group?

Large groups are welcome. If your group exceeds 20 or you need special accommodations for your party, please contact us at knockknock@dutchsspirits.com. We want to be sure that you and your group have the best experience while visiting our distillery!


Is the great lawn accessible TO ALl?

Yes! There is some rocky farm terrain on the path from our parking lot to the Great Lawn, but we do offer vehicular drop-off access to anyone who needs it. Drop-off access is available via the first driveway on the left when you pull into our distillery. Following guest drop-off we ask that you park your car back in one of the closer overflow parking lots. Our team is always here to help with accessibility. Turn to them with any questions or concerns you might have! 

You can find an accessible bathroom in the Tasting Room by the elevator on the 2nd floor. Kindly share any feedback you might have that could help us improve the comfort and especially the accessibility of our space. You can always reach us at knockknock@dutchsspirits.com. We want all of our guests to have an enjoyable visit and our team will go above and beyond to secure an inclusive and comfortable experience!


What is aVailable for seating?

We have picnic table & bench seating on the Great Lawn. We encourage guests to bring blankets or lounge chairs if they want to spread out or guarantee a comfortable place to enjoy the afternoon! Within the Tasting Room you can also find a limited number of chairs and tables.


CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?

Yes, we love dogs! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome. However all dogs must remain on leash as to not disturb other patrons. Please clean up after your dog when visiting.


Can we smoke?

Smoking is not permitted on the Great Lawn. If you wish to smoke, please step away to the parking lot and away from other patrons.


Are you giving tours Of Dutch Schultz’s Bunkers?

Currently tours are not available of the bunkers. However we are doing our very best to get these unique, historical spaces ready for viewing. Please subscribe to our newsletter and be the first to know when we begin our tours!


What is the best mode of transportation to visit the distillery?

Out in the country, it is difficult to find an Uber driver, etc. The best mode of transportation to visit the distillery is to drive or pre arrange a taxi service. Locally, we use Emerald Express Taxi Service and they can be reached at (518) 592-1074. 

If you’re traveling by train, the closest train station to the distillery is Wassaic Station in Armenia. The Rhinecliff Station off the Amtrak is also available via a 25 minute cab ride.


Where should we stay?

There are a few bed and breakfasts directly in town, such as The Inn At Pine Plains and The Pines Inn. Also consider searching the surrounding area for great Airbnb options.
